Shri Rama Chandra Pur is situated immediately next to the tempel of Sakigopal on the road connecting Bhubaneswar and Puri. The beautiful hindi tempel of Sakigopal is a highly spiritual place and many hundred devout people come to pay tribute to Krishna and Rada every day.
The Bramahn village Shri Ram Chandra Pur became famous when the first mixed cast school was founded here one hundred years ago. To honor this, 2008 a big public park with an amphitheater and a civic center were inaugurated. Dr Dash was one of the driving forces in that project.
